Follow up timeline:

Dupuytren’s Disease
In the Operating Room (OR):
- Depending on wound size, apply plaster positioning splint.
Day 1:
- Dressing change, fat gauze, and “cloud” compression dressing until Day 5.
- Remove Redon drain.
- Active movement exercises.
From Day 2 onward:
- Active and cautious passive movement exercises (daily physiotherapy, hand bath).
- Instruction on home exercises.
- Stretching splint (“Quengelschiene”) for pronounced contractures as directed by the surgeon.
Day 5:
- Interim compression glove.
Day 14:
- Suture removal.
From Week 3 onward:
- Physiotherapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT) for 2–6 weeks, depending on mobility.
- Independent movement exercises.
- Scar care/massage, if necessary silicone sheet inserts inside the glove.
